The Community Foundation Early Award Scholarship (EAS) Program will be featured in an upcoming webinar. The Center on Assets, Education, and Inclusion (AEDI) recently released the report Unleashing the Power of Children’s Savings Accounts (CSAs): Doorway to Multiple Streams of Assets. Case studies on five CSA programs from all over the United States, including the EAS Program, have been released as companion pieces to this report and as part of a leadup to the webinar, which will take place on March 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. (EST).

The focus of the case studies and the webinar is on imagining different ways that Children’s Savings Account (CSA) programs can leverage these accounts and connect families to multiple asset building streams for the purpose of helping all children reach their full potential.

The webinar will begin with comments from Dr. William Elliott, who has researched the EAS Program extensively in recent years. Presentations from each of the five CSA programs will be followed by 45 minutes of moderated Q&A. The webinar will be recorded and available for viewing about one week after the event.

The full report, executive summary, and case study about the Community Foundation's Early Award Scholarship program can each be found on the AEDI website, aedi.ssw.umich.edu/.
