Meet the Community Foundation Board of Directors, composed of community-minded individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of Wabash County citizens. The Community Foundation strives to maintain a board that represents a broad cross-section of the community.
Owner of Wabash Hardware & Rental
I am honored to serve on the CFWC board to collaborate with other leaders in the community about the future of Wabash County. Wabash is a wonderful community and I want to see it grow and prosper for future generations.
Department Chair and Professor of Psychology, Manchester University
I am proud to support the excellent work of the CFWC and the organization’s tireless efforts to raise the educational level of all students in the county. The work of the Community Foundation benefits us all, and we are fortunate to have such dedicated staff who are doing groundbreaking work on behalf of the entire community!
I serve on the Community Foundation Board, because I feel a responsibility to help advance educational attainment in Wabash County, both financially and as an advocate, into the foreseeable future.
Community Volunteer, Retired Commercial Banker
I feel privileged and blessed to serve as a Community Foundation of Wabash County Board Member. The Staff and the Board, as a team, have worked very hard since 1954 to accomplish great things and I’m positive that tradition will continue well into the future. I look forward to helping make an already great organization an even better one.
At-Large, Retired Public School Superintendent
I am excited to serve on the foundation’s board of directors because of the opportunity to support the outstanding work done on behalf of the total Wabash County community. I look forward to continuing to assist the foundation as we look to the future of our community and work toward improved quality of life and growth.
Small Business Owner and Retired Pastor
I appreciate serving on the CFWC Board because of the many ways the CF engages and serves the entire county whether its a local playground, scholarships for students or consulting on large envisioning and planning projects that promote sustainability. There seems to be no task too large or too small that doesn't attract the attention and support of the Foundation.
Product Information Manager, Ford Meter Box
I serve to help promote and support higher education for county residents and help others provide a means to support charitable causes for future generations.
President & CEO, Grow Wabash County
I’ve partnered with the CFWC since I moved to Wabash County, from the Early Childhood education initiatives spearheaded by the CFWC when I first arrived to workforce education and the re-imagining of Grow Wabash County through the development of the Imagine One 85 initiative, and I always admired the work and professionalism of the CFWC team, and so when the opportunity to join the board arose I was an immediate yes!
Assistant Professor of Psychology
I want to be active in supporting the types of events, experiences, and programs that sustain the strong family and community life that I hope to build here in Wabash County. I am always thinking, reading, and wondering about how to make things work better while the Community Foundation is out there actually doing the work of making things better; I want to be a part of it.
VP Commercial / Ag Lending Officer, Crossroads Bank
I enjoy utilizing my talents and networking relationships to provide guidance and leadership to the community organizations and business owners that I can serve. Service above self was something I learned very early in life from my years growing up and working in the Wabash County area. I am very proud to contribute to the board of the Community Foundation, as a Wabash County second generation resident, after my Father served on the board several terms in the very early developing years of the Foundation in North Manchester.
Financial Advisor, Northwestern Mutual
Serving many years on the Community Foundation Board and its Development Committee has allowed me to become more familiar with the work of the Foundation and its role in the community.
Owner, Batteries Plus Bulbs
I am honored to serve on the board of the CFWC and support its continued growth. Wabash County is very fortunate to have such an asset to help meet the needs of our community today and in the future.
Business Consultant, Professor of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies, Manchester University
I serve on the CFWC board because I want to reinvest in Wabash County. I want to do my tiny part in making it a wonderful place to live. I have 100% confidence in our director and staff and I wanted to do all I can to support them.
Financial Advisor, Edward Jones
My wife and I were both blessed by scholarships from the Community Foundation of Wabash County. As we raise our family in this community, we want Wabash County to be strong for years to come, and serving on the Community Foundation's board of directors was a way to help move this community forward.
Retired CFO, Ford Meter Box and Director and Audit Committee Chair, FFW Corporation and Crossroads Bank
I serve on the Community Foundation of Wabash County board because of its ability to make Wabash County a better place to live today and in the future. It’s focus on education is especially important to our county’s future.
