  Due to Covid-19, the CFWC offices are closed to the public. If you wish to contact our office, please call (260) 982.4824.           We are proud that for over 65 years our community foundation has put income generated from donor's investments to work in the community.  Together we have helped to strengthen education, support the arts, promote civic life, protect our environment, and ensure strong health and social services.  To date, we have 350 permanently endowed funds and 22 non-permanent funds.  Our total assets are more than $54 million and we have made more than $32.4 million in unrestricted grants to Wabash County, Indiana.

COVID-19 Assistance Program

The Community Foundation has created the COVID-19 Assistance Program to help individuals who have temporarily or permanently lost their jobs, or who are working and have lost childcare supervision due to COVID-19 related business, school, and childcare closures. To find out specifics of the program, including eligibility and expense requirements, click here. To apply for assistance, contact your local trustee, Reach of North Manchester (260) 982-9590, or the Wabash Area Ministerial Association (WAMA) (260) 274-0027. 

Nakota Kelly Remembrance Fund

The Nakota Blake Kelly Remembrance Fund was created to remember Nakota and support Wabash County agencies and programs that serve families and children like Nakota.  Click here to read more about the fund. 

IMAGINE Wabash County: Population Study

The Community Foundation has engaged the Community Research Institute, Purdue Fort Wayne, Becker Consulting, and Transform Consulting Group (TCG) to prepare quantitative and qualitative research on Wabash County’s historical population trends and projections, comparisons to other regions, and recommendations for growth. Paying for College and Career Training

8th grade parents! Watch this video prepared by Heavin College and Career Readiness Services about how to pay for college or career training beyond high school, and earn a $20 scholarship for your student’s Promise Early Award Scholarship Fund. Don’t wait until your student is a senior in high school to learn about the all-important FAFSA application that opens the door to many sources of funding for your student’s education.
