Jerry Prewitt Memorial Scholarship

Jerry Prewitt worked nearly four decades as a brakeman/switchman and locomotive engineer for CSX railroad and also spent over 25 years on the farm, working with cattle and growing tobacco. Jerry was a man of strong principles and believed strongly in civic engagement. Jerry's family created this scholarship to honor his work ethic by supporting Heartland students pursuing post-secondary education in welding, automotive, mechanics, or agriculture.
