About the North Manchester Center for History
The North Manchester Center for History collects, preserves and interprets the history of the North Manchester and Northern Indiana Eel River Basin. From the arrival of the first American Indians in the region to the present day, the Center collects and preserves the area's history with books, documents, artifacts and other cultural objects. The Center interprets its collections to the public with a museum facility, educational programs, lectures, public events and publications and encourages others to help collect, preserve and interpret the history of the North Manchester area.
