The Mohandas K. Gandhi Charitable Endowment honors the memory of Mohandas K. Gandhi (1869-1948), whose commitment to nonviolence in confronting the injustices of this world inspired his generation. He proved to the world the power of nonviolent action, freeing by its force an entire subcontinent from foreign rule. Let his example serve as a reminder to our own generation, when confronted by social and political troubles. The endowment supports the ever-changing needs of Wabash County.
