Briannon Joelle Curless Memorial Leadership Scholarship Endowment
After her untimely death in a car accident when she was 17, the family of Briannon Joelle Curless established a scholarship in 2005, in her name, to keep Briannon’s memory alive and carry on the meaning of her life and her motto of “be kind to everyone; judge no one.” Briannon was an inquisitive student, a leader in student government, a hard worker at the public library, a dedicated church-goer, a lover of dance and tae kwon do, and a selfless volunteer, giving her time to the LIFE Center and her church.
The Briannon Joelle Curless Memorial Leadership Scholarship Endowment provides funds to Wabash Friends Church, so that the church can provide scholarships to the youth of the Wabash Friends Church. The scholarships will allow students to participate in leadership training events, such as the Oakwood Academy now held in Syracuse, Indiana, or any other similar training event, to prepare for leadership in the youth group and other Christian ministry.
