Though the organization no longer exists, the Wabash County Society for Crippled Children and Adults lives on in this scholarship endowment. Scholarships are awarded to students in the county who have a passion for working with intellectually and/or physically disabled children and adults and who plan to obtain a college degree that supports a career in this field.
Eligibility Requirements
- Manchester, Northfield, or Southwood High School graduate
- Full-time, first-year student pursuing an education from an accredited Indiana institution of higher education related to working with children or adults who have learning disabilities and who are intelectually and/or physically disabled
- Traditional or non-traditional student
- Minimum accumulated GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent
