Raymond C. and Martha Ross Hood Scholarship Endowment for Accounting Studies
Martha Ross Hood grew up in the business world. Her parents ran a retail store, and when Martha took a year off from college to compete in the Indiana State Gladiola Queen Contest, which she won, she spent the year travelling and working for the J. W. Lewis Insurance Agency. Students who have lived in the county at least three years and attended Wabash High School at least two years may apply. Recipients may study any field, but preference will be given to a student who plans to major in accounting. The recipient will be active in extra-curricular activities, have demonstrated financial need, and will articulate a religious affiliation and commitment to the Christian faith.
- Wabash County resident for the past two years
- A graduate of Wabash High School in the past three years
- Having graduated from high school with a grade point average of B- or better
- Enrolling on a full-time basis in a two- or four-year Indiana public or private institution of higher education
