Jo’s Hope is named for Jo Hensley who passed away too soon from cancer. Her loving sisters Janet and Deb and their families created the scholarship in her memory. She was the dietician for Manchester Community Schools and was a great encourager of students. She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and aunt. She had a sense of humor and a serious concern for everyone around her. The scholarship is awarded to a traditional student who shares Jolene’s personal interests and character traits of honesty, loyalty, humor, and leadership.
