Furel R. Burns Scholarship

The Furel R. Burns Business Scholarship was established in 1998 by Jean E. Paulus in memory of her father, Furel R. Burns. Mr. Burns was a successful businessman in North Manchester. He was the owner of Burns Bakery on Walnut Street just across from the Post Office. Mr. Burns was active in community affairs, a member of the North Manchester Rotary Club, and an active member of the American Bakers Association.

Eligibility Requirements

• Manchester High School seniors excelling in business administration/management and planning to pursue the same in college.
