Church of Our Saviour Scholarship
The Church of Our Saviour Scholarship supports students entering graduate school to study in the areas of ministry, missionary work, or social work.
The Church of Our Saviour Scholarship Endowment was established by Richard and Marna Hettmansperger and is named for a former congregation in Wabash, Indiana. The scholarship gives support to graduate students in mission, ministry, or social work. Many scholarships support undergraduates, but the Hettmanspergers have ensured that resources are available at the graduate level for professional training in ministry and related fields.
“Congregations whose members are studying in seminaries or in graduate schools for a missions-related degree, including social work, will want to make their students aware of this opportunity,” Garber said. The scholarship is available to any Wabash County resident or a graduate from any accredited Wabash County high school who is entering graduate school to study in the area of ministry, missionary work, or social work.
