Early Childhood Education Provider Survey

The Early Childhood Education Coalition of Wabash County annually collects statistics about childcare in Wabash County to learn more about the gap between our supply of childcare options and the needs that working families have for childcare. Coalition members are asking for help from sitters, in-home childcare businesses, centers, ministries, and public school programs to collect information.

In 80% of homes with children under age 5, all parents are working full time. The Coalition is using information from the annual survey to understand where children in the county spend their preschool days. Responses on the survey are not used for any other reason.

If you care for children in your home, a center, a ministry, or a public, or private school, you are invited to fill out the below survey regarding your childcare service. Providers who complete the survey and return it by email will receive a $10 Walmart gift card AND your name will be entered into a drawing for one of four $50 gift certificates. The form should be downloaded, filled out, and returned via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by February 1.

Our kids are precious. The love and nurture of little ones that caretakers provide is an enormous service to the community and to the lifelong success of these little people. The coalition appreciates the work you do. Thank you for your help in assessing Wabash County’s childcare needs.

The Early Childhood Education Coalition is lead by the Community Foundation, Transform Consulting Group, and the Wabash County United Fund.
